Mike Asmar
Mike Asmar is a lifelong athlete and martial artist, he is the owner and founder of Kinetic Flow.
Mike is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT #21911), an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, a NASM Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Brown Belt under world renowned MMA Coach; Greg Jackson.
Mike’s Pain Management Strategy is focused on movement based pain solutions. He works with individuals to build awareness of myofascial relationships through bodywork and movement training, and sees communication as the cornerstone to achieving an individual’s structural integration goals.
He has clinical experience under the mentorship of medical doctors at an Interventional Spinal Care Clinic. The clinic specialized in acute and chronic pain, and Mike worked to rehabilitate victims of motor vehicle accidents with often complex and debilitating spinal injuries.
Mike grew up playing soccer, and transitioned to martial arts as a teenager. Mike has over 18 years experience in Combat Sports, where he competed in MMA, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Wrestling, and Judo.
Mike lived and trained in Albuquerque, New Mexico with top ranked UFC athletes at the world famous Jackson-Wink MMA Academy. He received his Brown Belt from Coach Greg Jackson, and taught at Greg’s Academy while fighting against nationally ranked amateur MMA Champions.
Mike trained and competed as an amateur boxer with Team Johnny Tapia, and worked as a coach at UFC Gym Albuquerque. He graduated with honors from The University of New Mexico with a concentration in Financial Management.
Mike is currently studying as an apprentice under Aaron Marco at the Institute for Integral Neuro-Fasciology (INF) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. INF embodies a synthesis of structural bodywork, body movement, functional medicine, and strategy.
